The curiosity to explore alternative ways to perform brought Avi Kaiser and Sergio Antonino to create At Your Place. This project has the intention to avoid the theatrical system and its way of functioning. It comes as close as possible to the people who are interested in movement as a form of expression.

At Your Place is performed in private apartments, art galleries or any possible suggested space, where among four walls a precious intimacy is reached, where the conventional distance between public and dancers is abolished and the space of showing and watching becomes one. The hosts must be open to the idea of having the performance at their place and in addition invite their guests.

The artists at their end will get to know each space, so the performance becomes a unique one of a kind with a special and personal touch. At Your Place has the potential to question and challenge the conventions and to stretch the boundaries of the art of dance. At Your Place has been performed till now in: Duisburg, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Bologna, Milan, Florence, Brussels, Madrid and New York.

At Your Place is a production of the Kaiser Antonino Dance ensemble supported by the Ministerpräsident des Landes NRW.

The Kaiser Antonino Dance Ensemble was founded in 2002 by Avi Kaiser from Israel and the Italian Sergio Antonino. Since then they’ve been directing The Roof-TanzRaum in Duisburg and have been performing their productions in Germany, Italy, Poland, USA, Canada, Turkey, Austria, Israel and Belgium.
