Pier Luigi Tazzi
Una lunga stagione felice / A long and happy season
1966 - 1976

6 pm

Pier Luigi Tazzi, curator of many international exhibitions - including Venice Biennial 1988, Documenta 9 (with Jan Hoet) 1992, Happiness. A Survival Guide for Art and Life (with David Elliott), Mori Art Museum, Tokyo and art critic, was born in 1941 in Colonnata, near Florence, and lives today in Bangkok and Florence.

In his lecture he will talk about the Florentine art scene of the 1960s and 1970s, its ideas and actions, its protagonists and the dynamics between visual poetry, performances, video, architecture and visual art.

It’s also the decade in which Ketty La Rocca creates her dense and radical oeuvre. The exhibition Supplica per un’appendice, where Pier Luigi Tazzi is going to speak, ends on 10 May.
