Alejandro Tomás Rodriguez, Robin Gentien, Pierre Lauth-Karson
ENGINE is a violent and sophisticated guitar concert, overlapped by the raw voices of two actor-musicians. For over four years, Alejandro and Robin have been travelling the world to perform various musical and theatrical shows. They also have been teaching, confronting themselves to a multiplicity of cultures and languages and thus enriching their art and craft to their contact. In March 2016 they moved to Buenos Aires, where their work found a home in which it would develop.
At the heart of their music dwells the need to give life to the flow emerging from the guitars and voices, may it be through a rock energy, a funky groove, flamenco or latin rythms, and may it go from Spanish to English, French or Italian. This partition is composed by poems and ironic reflections, sensitive and always referring to the issues of our time.
