Villa Romana Fellow 2016 Flaka Haliti has been shortlisted for the Biennial Nationalgalerie Award.
Congratulations, Flaka Haliti!The Villa Romana Fellow 2016 has been shortlisted for the biennial Nationalgalerie Award. The works by the four nominated artists of 2019 will be on view at the Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin from 16 August to 12 January 2020. The award winner, who will receive a solo show in 2020, will be selected on 12 September. Besides Flaka Haliti, Pauline Curnier Jardin, Simon Fujiwara and Katja Novitskova have been nominated.
The Nationalgalerie Award, currently being assigned for the tenth time, honours young artist with a strong position in art that "have already gained influence and importance in the art world".
