40,000 - A Museum of Curiosity is the title of this year's Triennale Kleinplastik, curated by art and cultural theorist Dr. Brigitte Franzen (*1966). Franzen developed the architecture for the exhibition together with the French garden artists of Atelier le balto (Berlin, Le Havre), who since 2009 have also been transforming the garden of the Villa Romana into an open space of social interaction in an ongoing process.
We especially congratulate Flaka Haliti for the Ludwig Gies Prize 2019 for small sculpture, which was awarded to her by the LETTER Foundation, Cologne, on the occasion of the opening of the 14th Triennale Kleinplastik.
