Shannon Bool, Villa Romana Fellow 2013, exhibits at the Kunstverein Braunschweig.
In the exhibition House of Oblivion, Bool combines the visual arts with a variety of techniques and materials from the arts and crafts movement. An approach to the unconscious, inspired by psychoanalysis, runs like a thread through the exposed works. In her artistic investigations on, among others, Carlo Mollino, Mies van der Rohe and Le Corbusier, the artist also deals with modernism and the concepts it is connected to. Invited by Shannon Bool, Esther Kinsky exhibits in a room of the Villa Salve Hospes.The exhibition runs til 17 Nov 2019.
