Lerato Shadi's solo exhibition MARU A PULA IS A SONG OF HAPPINESS will open on 12 Sep 2020 at the KINDL Center for Contemporary Art and runs until 07 Feb 2021. The exhibition presents recent works on paper, textile works, room installations and video works as well as a new production developed especially for the KINDL's Maschinenhaus M1.
The exhibition A Handful of Dust (04 - 27 Sep 2020) shows a collaboratively developed room installation by Anne Duk Hee Jordan and Viron Erol Vert at cemetery Lilienthalstraße. Starting from the Hall of Honour, built between 1938 and 1941 as the Temple of the Fatherland at cemetery Lilienthalstraße 7 in Berlin-Neukölln, the exhibition deals with the theme of fear in historical socio-political contexts.
The Boros Foundation will be showing the exhibition Studio Berlin in the Club Berghain with art from contemporary Berlin studios, opening September 9th, 2020. Along with a large number of other artists, works by the Villa Romana Fellows Jeewi Lee and Viron Erol Vert (2018), Mariechen Danz (2013), Henrik Olesen (2011) and Katharina Grosse (1992) will be on show.
