
Gülbin Ünlü is a Munich-based artist whose interdisciplinary practice weaves together painting, installation, performance, video, and music. Her work explores affective archives, fragmented narratives, and aesthetic resistance beyond dominant regimes of visibility. In 2025, her work was shown at Haus der Kunst (Nostralgia) and Villa Stuck (ultrahappy). In 2024, she held an interim professorship in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. Her works have been exhibited at Berlinische Galerie and Pinakothek der Moderne. In addition to music projects and artist publications, her self-titled monograph was recently published by Hammann von Mier Verlag. She received, among others, the City of Munich Art Prize (2022), the Bavarian Art Award (2023), and the Zeitsicht Award (2024).
